VARIABLE IN SHAPE, OVATE-LANCEOLATE, BROADEST NEAR THE BASE OR NARROW AND PARALLEL-SIDED, TIP POINTED OR BLUNT, MARGINS TOOTHED, MORE OR LESS HAIRY ON BOTH SURFACES, UP TO 6 CM LONG, LEAF STALKS UP TO 2.5 CM LONG.

FLOWERS

IN CLOSE CLUSTERS AT THE BRANCH ENDS, MIXED WITH MANY HAIRY BRISTLE-LIKE BRACTS, PETALS PINK, YELLOW AT THE BASE.

FRUITS

CAPSULE HAIRY, LONGER THAN THE SEPALS, SPLITTING INTO 5 PARTS.
