Description and appearance
Oil of Himalayan Cedar-wood shall be obtained primarily by the distillation of the waste sawdust, chips and wood shavings of the heartwood of the deodar tree Cedras deodara. Loud: Family: Pinaceae. The oil shall be clear free from sediment, suspended matter, separated water and adulterants. It shall have heavy balsamic odour and shall be of light yellow to reddish brown in colour.
