Characteristics

Plants prostrate type but become erect in later

growth stage. Stem thin and grassy with profuse

tillering.

 

 

Foliage narrow and dark greenish. Spikelets

disarticulation by fracture. Panicles equilateral.

Floral separation by basi-fracture.

Takes 110 – 115 days for flowering and 140-145

days for seed setting.
