General characteristics 

  • Oil cakes of good and fair grades, shall be the products obtained after the extraction of oil from Sesamum (till) by power driven machinery.
  • Ghani cake shall be the product obtained after the extraction of oil from Sesamum (till) seeds by animal driven ghani.
  • The material shall be free from harmful constituents and castor cake or husk.
  • It shall be free from rancidity adulterants, insects or fungus infestation and from fermented musty or other objectionable odour.
  • It shall be free from dirt of extraneous matter.
