The Birds Are Distributed Throughout The Mayurbhanj District But Predominately Found In Khunta, Kaptipada, Udala, Suliapada, Shyamakhunta, Thakurmunda, Bangiriposhi, Saraskana And Kuliona Blocks And Adjacent Areas Of Patna And Sarpada Blocks Of Keonjhar District. Breeding Tract Is Mostly Confined To Areas Surrounding The Similipal National Park And Biosphere Reserve.
