Tongla shows a strong resistance to soil borne diseases as well as common viruses and sucking pest damage. It has an upward fruit bearing habit. Fruits are of high quality, firm, highly pungent, dark green in immature stage turning to shiny red in mature stage. Known for its good drying quality. |
