LEAVES

OBOVATE, APEX BROADLY ROUNDED TO RETUSE WITH A SMALL TRIANGULAR TIP, ON BOTH SIDES GLABROUS TO SPARSELY PUBESCENT, OFTEN ONLY ALONG MIDRIB AND VEINS WITH GLABROUS LAMINA, MARGIN DISTINCTLY CRISPED-CILIATE.

FLOWERS

FLOWERS IN CONDENSED AXILLARY CYMES WITH 1-3 FLOWERS; WHITE, PALE BLUE TO BLUE OR MAUVE TO VIOLET.

FRUITS

CAPSULE 8-14 MM LONG, SHORTER THAN CALYX (RARELY SAME LENGTH).

2-3 MM LONG.
