• Phosphate solubilizing bacteria solubilizes the insoluble phosphates present in the soil and makes it available to plant in utilizable form. PSB produces organic acids (viz, citric acid, lactic acid, etc.), and enzymes (viz, phytase, phosphatase, etc.) that helps in solubilization of insoluble phosphates.
