STRAGGLING, MUCH BRANCHED; IT IS PURPLE AT THE NODES; INTERNODES ARE LONG AND HAIRY.

LEAVES

OVATE OR ELLIPTIC, ACCUTE, HAIRY, ENTIRE, WITH NARROW BASE.

FLOWERS

NEARLY SESSILE, AXILLARY, SOLITARY OR FEW TOGETHER. PALE BLUE TO LIGHT VIOLET AND OCCASIONALLY WHITE IN COLOR.

FRUITS

CAPSULES CLUB-SHAPED, 1.5-2 CM LONG, DENSELY COVERED WITH FINE HAIRS.
