LEAVES

ALTERNATE, SUBSESSILE TO SHORT-PETIOLED, VARIABLE IN SHAPE: BROADLY OVATE, ELLIPTIC OR LANCEOLATE, 0.8-2.6 CM LONG AND UP TO 1 CM WIDE, ACUTE TO ROUNDED AT BOTH ENDS, HAIRY ON BOTH SIDES.

FLOWERS

BLUE OR WHITE, CAMPANULATE TO SUBROTATE, 0.5-0.6 CM LONG AND WIDE, BORN 1-3 TOGETHER ON AXILLARY PEDUNCLES 0.6-4 CM LONG.

FRUITS

GLOBOSE 4-VALVED, USUALLY 4-SEEDED, CAPSULE, 0.3-0.4 CM LONG, GLABROUS.

SEEDS

 PALE BROWN TO BLACK, OVOID, 1.5-1.7 MM LONG.
